• Welcome Cirrus Systems!

    Greetings from Cirrus Systems!
Cirrus Systems was founded in 2012 by Dave Rycyna with the goal to create the world’s first cloud-based outdoor LED platform. Dave saw an industry dominated by a few legacy manufacturers that were ripe for disruption. He named the company “Cirrus” to reflect the cloud-based vision.

    The People Behind the Company

Today, Cirrus employs more than 120 people across engineering, software development, manufacturing, sales, and customer support, with our headquarters and production facility in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The culture Dave set in 2012 still shows up in how we operate: a bias toward solving problems for the shops in the field, a belief that good software should disappear into the background, and a commitment to U.S. manufacturing that lets us stand behind every panel we ship.

That culture has made Cirrus an award-winning provider of on-premise marketing solutions, with more than 10,000 displays installed, and a proud partner with hundreds of sign shops across the country. Getting here wasn’t easy, and it was based on a simple set of beliefs: bring passion to the work, build quality into every step, and never settle for “that’s just the way it is.” We’re a team that respects each other, removes friction wherever we find it, and treats every day as another chance to innovate.

The innovation has continued – Cirrus now offers an integrated platform that includes indoor and outdoor displays, AI-powered sensor technology, cloud based software, and proactive hardware monitoring. Every Cirrus display is cellular enabled and connected to the cloud, enabling real-time diagnostics and the ability to update from anywhere, anytime, on any device using Cirrus’ award-winning ScreenHub software.

    Built in America, by Design

From the beginning, Cirrus has been committed to manufacturing in the United States to the greatest extent possible. That commitment wasn’t about marketing. It was about quality control, supply chain resilience, accountability to our partners, and supporting American manufacturing jobs. More than a decade later, that conviction has only grown stronger, and it shapes every decision we make about how and where we build our products.

Our Portsmouth, New Hampshire facility is home to the longest continuous, automated LED manufacturing line in North America. The line pairs advanced automation with skilled engineering talent, allowing us to produce displays at scale without compromising the precision that solid-state LED hardware demands. Components are carefully sourced from domestic and trusted global suppliers, but from the printed circuit board to the final assembly, the work is done on American soil.

For our sign company partners, that translates into faster installs, fewer service calls, and a platform their end customers actually enjoy using. We see ourselves as an extension of our sign shop partners, providing the products, the software, the training, and the back-end support that lets our partners deliver more value to the businesses they serve.

We take pride in our memberships with prominent organizations such as the International Sign Association (ISA), the Texas Sign Association (TSA), the Mid-South Sign Association (MSSA), the Tri-State Sign Association (TSSA), the Northwest Sign Council (NWSC), and the Midwest Sign Association (MSA).

We’re proud to join the California Sign Association and to support the California sign professionals who continue to put local businesses on the map. Learn more about Cirrus Systems at cirrusled.com.
