    The California Sign Association Board of Directors for 2024-25, were installed on August 15, 2024 at CSA’s Annual Banquet. Immediate Past President Jason Rieman, Gemini, was thanked for his leadership and continued membership growth over the past year, as Michael Schmidt, with P.S. Services, was welcomed to the President’s role for the California Sign Association Board of Directors!
    President Schmidt has already chaired his first board meeting, and is setting us on a course for success! Congratulations, Michael!

  • CSA Fishing Trip 2024 – A Big Haul!

    On August 3rd, 35 of the 39 who registered for the CSA 2024 Fishing Trip were aboard the “Clemente” by 5 a.m. and didn’t return until around 6:30 p.m. Event participation for 2024 was good and fun had by all – This year (120) Fish were caught and the $175 jackpot catch was won by Samantha Swift, Ad Art – Congratulations Samantha!

  • Governor Signs PAGA Reform Bill

    WIN FOR SMALL BUSINESS

    PAGA (Private Attorney General Act) has long been a thorn in the side of California employer. It essentially allows private attorneys to step into the shoes of government lawyers to prosecute employment cases. This bill seeks to rein in PAGA claims.  Here is the Governor’s message.  The legislation was signed into law today by the Governor after proponents of a PAGA ballot initiative withdrew their measure last week.  Here’s a link to the legislation, AB 2288.
