• California Sign Association Promotes National Manufacturing Week!

SENATOR BRIAN W. JONES HONORS THE CALIFORNIA SIGN ASSOCIATION
AT THE 10TH ANNUAL EAST COUNTY MANUFACTURING EXPO…

“In special recognition of your unyielding dedication to the betterment of the community,
through your contributions to the 2025 East County Manufacturing Expo. Your
dedication, partnership, and commitment to advancing manufacturing and
workforce development has made lasting impact on our region.”

National Manufacturing Week: September 29 – October 3, 2025, is a nationwide effort, culminating on National Manufacturing Day (the first Friday in October), celebrating the importance of the American manufacturing industry and its contributions to the economy and national security. During this week, manufacturers, educational institutions, and government bodies host events and share data to inspire students and the community about modern manufacturing careers, promote innovation, and highlight the need for a skilled workforce.

gg-fields-groupCSA was excited to receive an invitation to participate in the 10th Annual East County Manufacturing Expo/Job Fair-2025! This year’s theme “Innovate, Integrate, Inspire – 10 Years of Manufacturing Growth.”  Over 1000 high school students, as well as college students, job seekers and community members, arrived at Cuyamaca Community College on the morning of September 30. Opening Ceremonies kicked off at 10:15am and the Expo began at 11:00am. The CSA booth, with its digital screens, and “Jack in the Box” provided by Bob McCarter, Signtech Electrical Advertising, was a hit of the Expo! The event served as a catalyst, igniting interest in manufacturing careers among our future sign industry workforce.

The International Sign Association (ISA) has offered Sign Manufacturing Day for the last 12 years, with the event launching in 2013 on National Manufacturing Day. CSA members have been participants in this annual endeavor over the years, and we hope all those involved in the 2025 efforts were successful!
