Online Sole Owner License Application Now Available
The Contractors State License Board (CSLB) is pleased to announce that its online sole owner license application is now available for applicants to complete and submit electronically.
The Online Sole Owner License Application covers any specific trade classification – including the C-45 sign classification – as long as the business is structured as a sole proprietorship (owned by a single individual, not a corporation or LLC). You still need to document 4-years of journey-level experience and pass the necessary trade and law examinations and you cannot use the online sole owner application if you already hold an existing license and simply want to add the C-45 classification to it.
